Mazarrón and the surrounding area
Mazarrón is located in the Murcia region of Spain on the Costa Calida (warm coast) which stretches from the largest lagoon in Europe (the Mar Menor) around the La Manga Strip and along the Mediterranean coast to Aguilas in the south.
Mazarrón is close to San Javier (Murcia), Almeria and Alicante airports. Traveling times are approximately 45 minutes from San Javier (Murcia) and 1hr 30 minutes from both Almeria and Alicante.
